## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT TOUCHED DOWN ON RWY 36 AND ENCOUNTERED A GUST OF WIND CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL TO THE LEFT OF RUNWAY. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED CORRECTION TO THE RIGHT AND INITIATED A GO-AROUND, WITH SUBSEQUENT LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RUNWAY AT APPROXIMATELY MID-FIELD, AND CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS INFIELD, APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET FROM RIGHT EDGE OF RWY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
