## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE LANDING ON RWY 23 AT DALLAS BAY SKYPARK (1A0) THE RIGHT WHEEL LOCKED-UP UPON TOUCHDOWN. NEITHER PILOT HAD APPLIED THE BRAKES TO TRIGGER THIS EVENT. THE AIRPLANE PROCEEDED DOWN THE RUNWAY WITH THE RIGHT WHEEL LOCKED UP FOR APPROX. 400 FEET AT WHICH TIME THE RIGHT WHEEL SLID OFF THE RIGHT EDGE OF THE RUNWAY SURFACE AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON ITS NOSE WITH THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE EARTH. AFTER THE CREW EXITED THE AIRCRAFT, THE TAIL WAS BROUGHT BACK DOWN AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS DRUG BACK UP ON THE RUNWAY SURFACE. THE RIGHT WHEEL WAS STILL LOCKED UP AT THIS TIME. THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS MOVED LEFT AND RIGHT A FEW FEET AND UNEXPECTEDLY THE RIGHT WHEEL STARTED TO ROLL FREE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
