## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT UPON FINISHING SURVEYING WORK HE PROCEEDED FOR A STRAIGHT IN APPROACH TO 7L AT THE DAYTONA BEACH AIRPORT (DKAB). AFTER CLEARED FOR LANDING HE SELECTED GEAR TO THE DOWN POSITION, THE GEAR UP LIGHT WENT OUT; HOWEVER, THE GEAR DOWN AND LOCK LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE AND THE LANDING GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. HE THEN PERFORMED AN IMMEDIATE GO-AROUND AND MADE A GEAR-UP UNEVENTFUL LANDING ON KDAB RUNWAY 16.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
