## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI) AND PRIVATE PILOT WERE ENGAGED IN TRAINING APPROXIMATELY SIX MILES SOUTH OF THE GREEN CASTLE AERO CLUB AIRPORT. RADAR IMAGES INDICATE THE AIRCRAFT HAD COMPLETED FOUR DIFFERENT MANEUVERS AND HAD CLIMBED TO AN ALTITUDE OF 3,575 FEET ON A 181 DEGREE HEADING. THE FINAL SIX RADAR IMAGES INDICATE A SUDDEN LOSS OF ALTITUDE AND HEADING CHANGES UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT DROPS OFF THE RADAR SCREEN AT 1,250 FEET ON A 210 DEGREE HEADING. THE WRECKAGE WAS FOUND IN A BEAN FIELD FACING 284 DEGREES WEST. GROUND IMPACT AND SUBSEQUENCE FIRE KILLED BOTH OCCUPANTS AND DESTROYED MOST OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRPLANE AND ENGINE SUSTAINED IMPACT AND FIRE DAMAGE. THE COCKPIT AND FUSELAGE WERE DESTROYED. EYEWITNESS REPORTED SEEING THE AIRCRAFT AS IT APPEARED TO BE HANGING IN THE AIR AND THEN ENTER INTO A SPIN AND DISAPPEAR BEHIND A HILL FOLLOWED BY HEARING A GROUND IMPACT.
