## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED LANDING LONG AND 10 MILES AN HOUR TO FAST. AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE PILOT APPLIED THE BRAKES HARD CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER TO THE LEFT. NOT WANTING TO OVER CORRECT HE ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ONTO THE TAXI WAY BUT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR WENT INTO THE SOFT SHOULDER CAUSING THE LEFT WING HIT A TAXI SIGN. AIRCRAFT DAMAGE CONSISTED OF SCRATCHES UNDER THE LEFT WING AND THE LEFT FLAP FAIRING DENTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
