## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS BACK TAXIING ON RUNWAY 20 FOR TAKE-OFF. AT APPROXIMATELY 2074 FEET PRIOR TO REACHING THE THRESHOLD OF RUNWAY 20, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE RIGHT AND EXITED THE RUNWAY. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS FIRST TO CONTACT THE GRASS FOLLOWED BY THE NOSE LANDING GEAR. GROUND CONDITIONS WERE WET AND MUDDY. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR SUNK IN THE MUD. THE NOSE GEAR SUNK AND COLLAPSED IN THE MUD. THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR REMAINED ON THE RUNWAY. DUE TO THE ANGLE OF THE AIRCRAFT (CAUSED BY NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE AND SINKING IN MUD) BOTH PROPS STRUCK THE GROUND AND SUSTAINED SEVERE DAMAGE. PRIOR TO FAA ARRIVAL, THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED BY THE AIRPORT MANAGER AND PLACED IN A T-HANGAR. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
