DURING THE FINAL PHASE OF THE CFI CHECK RIDE WHILE IN KGSO TRAFFIC PATTERN THEY SELECTED THE GEAR DOWN, THE INITIAL INDICATION WAS 3 GREEN. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THEY RECEIVED AN INTERMITTENT GEAR UNSAFE INDICATION.

DURING THE LANDING THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED APPROXIMATELY 300 YARDS ON THE STEP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT BEFORE COMING TO REST. THE DAMAGE APPEARS TO BE LIMITED TO THE AIRCRAFT STEP AND RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO STRUCTURES ON THE GROUND.
