## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 7, 2017 AT 1000 N78175 A 1946 GLOBE GC-1B WITH ONLY THE PILOT ON BOARD, EXPERIENCED A COLLAPSED LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 1 AT CINDY GUNTLY MEMORIAL AIRPORT (62C). THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT. THE WEATHER AT THE TIME WAS REPORTED CLEAR WITH WINDS FROM THE SOUTH GUSTING 7-10.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
