## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 13, 2017 AT APPROXIMATELY 0715 LOCAL TIME, N236AL SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT PROPELLER WHEN THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE TAXIWAY AT DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

WHEN ATTEMPTING A RIGHT TURN ONTO TAXIWAY M10, THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT FAILED TO RESPOND. WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO APPLY BRAKES, THE REACTION OF THE PEDAL FELT "MUSHY". HE STRUGGLED TO GET THE AIRCRAFT TO STOP AND DEPARTED THE TAXIWAY STRIKING A TAXIWAY LIGHT WITH THE RIGHT PROPELLER. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO TAXI BACK TO PARKING. MAINTENANCE COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE ANOMALY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
