## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 15, 2017, AT APPROXIMATELY 1850 CDT, N9530P, A PIPER PA-25-260 EQUIPPED FOR AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS, WAS EN ROUTE TO THE SEWARD MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (SWT) IN SEWARD, NE FOR A SCHEDULED FUEL STOP, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED ENGINE FAILURE AND MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN A FIELD LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 10 MILES DUE NORTH OF SWT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT WAS UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
