## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING SOUTHBOUND ON RUNWAY 16. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE TOUCHDOWN THE RIGHT GEAR (MLG) FIRST. THE LEFT SIDE THEN TOUCHDOWN HARD BECAUSE OF A GUST OF WIND AND THE WHEEL-STRUT ASSYEMBLY CAME OFF. THE PLANE LEFT THE RUNWAY EASTBOUND AND CAME TO REST FACING NORTH ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PLANE SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO ITS LEFT WHEEL AND STRUT, FRONT WHEEL FORK AND TOO, THE LEFT WING TIP AND LIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
