As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (PIC FOR N2242Y) DEPARTED KOWD WITH TWO PASSENGERS (^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^) WITH AN INTENDED POINT OF LANDING AT THE MONTICELLO MOTOR CLUB. WHILE ON FINAL APPROACH TO THE RACE TRACK N2242Y WAS FOLLOWING LANDING TRAFFIC, AND FOR SPACING PURPOSES HAD ACCOMPLISHED A 360 DEGREE TURN APPROXIMATELY 1NM FROM THE END OF THE LANDING PAVEMENT. AS N2242Y APPROACHED THE PAVEMENT THRESHOLD ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ NOTICED SOME POWER LINES APPROXIMATELY 300FT BEFORE THE TOUCHDOWN POINT. THE POWER LINES STARTLED HIM AND AS A RESULT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ PULLED UP AND ARRESTED THE AIRCRAFTS DESCENT CAUSING THE AIRSPEED TO SLOW. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DID NOT ADJUST POWER AND MAINTAINED THE ADJUSTED DESCENT PROFILE; THE RIGHT WING BEGAN TO DROP AS THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY RESULTING IN A HARD LANDING. UPON TOUCHDOWN THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE GROUND AS ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SIMULTANEOUSLY APPLIED POWER TO EXECUTE A GO AROUND MANEUVER, THE AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED AND WAS MOMENTARILY AIRBORNE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THEN NOTICED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME CLIMBING AND HAD DRIFTED OVER A GRASSY AREA TO THE RIGHT OF THE TRACK. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DECIDED TO PULL THE POWER BACK AND TOUCHDOWN IN THE GRASS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
