## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

REDDING TOWER RECEIVED A CALL FROM N7352S THAT HE WAS INBOUND TO REDDING AND HE DID NOT THINK HE WAS GOING TO MAKE IT TO THE AIRPORT. HE THEN SAID HE WAS LOOKING FOR A FIELD TO LAND IN, AFTER THAT THE COMMUNICATIONS ENDED

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR17LA106](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR17LA106), May 19, 2017: Cessna 182P (N7352S), Anderson, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: Loss of engine power for reasons that could not be determined based on the available information.

## Other reports on N7352S (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19791126046069I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19791126046069I), Nov 26, 1979: Cessna 182P (N7352S), Grass Valley, CA, Minor damage. Engine failed after takeoff. Probable water in fuel.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
