## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 24, 2017, APPROXIMATELY 16:25 CST, N8024D WAS ON APPROACH TO KARR (AURORA) FROM IS65 (WOODLAKE) AIRPORT. 2 MILES OUT THE SOLE PILOT ONBOARD TRIED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. THE L/H MAIN GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND. THE PILOT DID A LOW APPROACH BY THE TOWER TO CONFIRM IF IT WAS DOWN OR AN INDICATION ISSUE. THE TOWER CONFIRMED THAT THE GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED. THE PILOT AT THAT TIME TRIED TO GET THE GEAR DOWN BY FOLLOWING THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURE AND JOSTLING THE AIRCRAFT. THE GEAR WOULD NOT DEPLOY. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE L/H MAIN GEAR UP AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
