## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 25, 2017, AT 1559 CDT, CGGSR, A CANADIAN REGISTERED CIRRUS SR-22 REGISTERED TO A PRIVATE OWNER, HIT A RUNWAY LIGHT DURING LANDING ON RUNWAY 17R IN GUSTY WINDS WITH A RIGHT CROSSWIND AT THE ABILENE REGIONAL AIRPORT (KABI). THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED ON A PERSONAL PLEASURE FLIGHT. VISUAL METEROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. THERE WAS NO FLIGHT PLAN FILED. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT MAIN WHEEL PANT. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURTED AND THERE WERE NO PASSENGERS. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM BATON ROUGE, LOUSIANA AT 1230, ON MAY 25, 2017.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
