## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ARRIVED AT DESTINATION ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN. CANCELED IFR IN VMC CONDITIONS AND INITIATED A DECENT FROM 4000 FEET MSL TO ENTER THE TRAFFIC PATTERN ON A LEFT BASE ENTRY FOR LANDING ON EASTSOUND RUNWAY 16. DUE TO AN INCREASED WORKLOAD AND UNEXPECTED CONDITIONS PILOT FAILED TO USE THE CHECKLIST PRIOR TO LANDING AND DID NOT EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AND SLID APPROXIMATELY 1100 FEET COMING TO REST ON THE RUNWAY. NO POST CRASH FIRE OR INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED BY THE OCCUPANTS. AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO UNDERSIDE AND PROP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
