## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

IT WAS THE SECOND FLIGHT OF THE DAY. ONE PASSENGER ON BOARD. PILOT WAS LANDING RUNWAY 22 AT BHB, THE WINDS WERE VARIABLE BETWEEN 240 AND 270 BETWEEN 5 AND 7 KT. PILOT STATED THAT: ON TOUCHDOWN ON 22, THE TAIL WENT UP AND THE PILOT CORRECTED FOR CROSS-WIND TO TRACK STRAIGHT DOWN THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED ON ITS OWN UNTIL THE TAIL FINISHED FLYING. ONCE THE TAIL WENT DOWN THE PILOT APPLIED BRAKES. THE RIGHT BRAKE PEDAL WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. BUT THE LEFT BRAKE DID STILL WORK WHICH IMMEDIATELY TURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT. PILOT TOOK BOTH FEET OFF THE BRAKES AND APPLIED FULL RIGHT RUDDER, BUT DIDN?T HAVE ENOUGH AIRSPEED FOR THE RUDDER TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FROM GOING OFF THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT WENT INTO THE GRASS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE GRASS WAS DRY, BUT THE GROUND WAS SATURATED. WHEN AIRCRAFT GOT 15 FEET INTO THE GRASS, THE MAIN WHEELS SUNK IN TO MUD. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP RESTING ON THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT SHUT OFF THE FUEL AND BOTH OCCUPANTS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
