## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

I TALKED TO ^MR WHITLOCK^ ON OR ABOUT JULY12, 2017 AND ADVISED HIM THAT THIS OFFICE HAD RECEIVED A PICTURE OF ^HIS^ AIRCRAFT N9105Z SITTING ON ITS BELLY ON RUNWAY 35. I THEN ASKED HIM IF HE WOULD TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED. ^MR. V. T. WHITLOCK^ STATED THAT IT WAS A WINDY DAY WITH STRONG GUST AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS BOUNCING AROUND AND THAT HE HAD HIS HANDS FULL AND THAT HE FORGOT TO PUT THE LANDING GEAR DOWN. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE WAS NOT INJURED. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE NOTIFIED THE NTSB EVEN THOUGH HE DIDN'T HAVE TO. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
