## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 17, 2017 AT APPROXIMATELY 1430 LOCAL TIME, A 912S TWIN ENGINE AIR CAM EXPERIMENTAL AMATEUR BUILT AIRCRAFT CALL SIGN ?N31RN? EQUIPPED WITH WATER FLOATS HAD AN INCIDENT AFTER LANDING ON CARTERS LAKE LOCATED IN ELLIJAY, GEORGIA. PILOT STATEMENT READS AS FOLLOWS: WHILE TAXING A WAVE HIT THE PORT SIDE FLOAT CAUSING TWO BALANCE WIRES TO SNAP LETTING THE AIRCRAFT LEND TO THE LEFT LETTING THE LEFT WING MAKE CONTACT WITH THE WATER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
