## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT CONDUCTING SECOND SOLO FLIGHT CONDUCTED THREE PREVIOUS LANDINGS, ONE TOUCH AND GO, AND TWO STOP AND GO PROCEDURES. ON THE TAKEOFF ROLL FOLLOWING THE SECOND STOP AND GO, THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT. THE STUDENT PILOT APPLIED FULL RIGHT RUDDER BUT WAS UNABLE TO GET THE AIRCRAFT TO TURN TO THE RIGHT AND BACK TO THE RUNWAY CENTERLINE. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK A RUNWAY/TAXIWAY SIGN CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE STUDENT PILOT FAILED TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING TAKEOFF ROLL.
