## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FLIGHT DEPARTED MSY TO DCA. THE RIGHT PACK WAS ON MEL. AFTER REACHING FL310 FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES THE LEFT BLEED OVERHEAT WARNING MESSAGE CAME ON ALONG. THE CREW STARTED TO RUN THE QRH WHEN THE FORWARD FA CALLED THE CAPTAIN ABOUT AN UNRESPONSIVE PASSENGER. AFTER TALKING TO THE FA THE CABIN ALT WARNING MESSAGE CAME ON FOLLOWED BY THE PASSENGER OXYGEN ON MESSAGE. THE CREW STARTED AN EMERGENCY DECENT AND REQUESTED TO DIVERT TO MGM. THE RIGHT HAND BRAKE OVERHEAT MESSAGE CAME ON SHORTLY AFTER. THE CAPTAIN CALLED THE FA AND ASKED IF THERE WAS SMOKE AND FUMES IN THE BACK. THE FA STATED YES. THE CAPTAIN THEN REQUESTED A CLOSER AIRPORT TO DIVERT TO DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF FIRE ON BOARD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS STOPPED ON THE RUNWAY AND AN EVACUATION WAS CONDUCTED. ONLY TWO MINOR INJURIES OCCURRED TO PASSENGERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
