## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRPLANE ON RUNWAY 31 (KLNS) AND CAME TO A FULL STOP. THE PILOT THEN BEGAN A TAKE OFF ROLL, RUNWAY 31, ADDING A LITTLE BIT OF RIGHT RUDDER TO COMPENSATE FOR DRIFT IN A QUARTERING CROSSWIND. WINDS WERE APPROXIMETLY 2 MILES PER HOUR WSW, 080. APPROXIAMETLY 10 KTS SHORT OF ROTATION, THE PILOT OVER-CORRECTED FOR DRIFT WITH TOO MUCH RIGHT RUDDER AND ACCIDENTLY TAPPED THE RIGHT BRAKE. THE AIRPLANE TURNED SHARPLY TO THE RIGHT, LEAVING THE RUNWAY AND ENTERING THE GRASS AND OVER A SMALL BERM. THE AIRPLANE WAS AIRBORNE FOR A VERY SHORT TIME AS A RESULT OF GOING OVER THE BERM. THE PILOT ESTIMATED THE AIRPLANE WAS ONLY A FEW FEET OFF THE GROUND. THE AIRPLANE CONTACTED THE GROUND IN A NOSE DOWN, ANGLED TO THE LEFT, ATTITUDE DAMAGING THE NOSE AND LEFT HAND LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
