## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT YOUNGSTOWN/WARREN REGIONAL AIRPORT ON 06/22/2017 AT 21:46 LCL TIME N441LS OPERATED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ EXITED THE TAXIWAY THROUGH A GRASS ISLAND AREA BETWEEN TAXIWAY HOTEL, JULIET, AND THE RAMP. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TAXIWAY EXCURSION. BOTH PROPELLERS WERE DAMAGED. A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR WAS THAT NIGHT VISION GOGGLE OPERATIONS WERE TAKING PLACE BY MILITARY AIRCRAFT AT THE AIRPORT. MOST OF THE AIRPORT LIGHTING WAS OFF. ATC DID NOT REALIZE THAT THE LIGHTS WERE OFF BETWEEN THE RAMP AND TAXIWAY HOTEL. THE CIRCUIT FOR THAT SET OF TAXIWAY LIGHTS IS ON JULIET TAXIWAY LIGHT CIRCUIT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
