## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FOLLOWING LANDING ON RWY 11 AT KPDT, DURING ROLLOUT THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE TAIL WHEEL AIRPLANE AND FLIPPED IT OVER, NOSE FIRST, AT ABOUT 1000' PAST THE THRESHOLD, RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE RUDDER AND RIGHT WING. NO PILOT INJURIES.

THE PILOT CLAIMS A GUST OF WIND OR DUST DEVIL CAUSED HIS RIGHT WING TO LIFT ABOUT 4' OR 5', TO WHICH HE INPUT RIGHT RUDDER AND AILERON WITH FULL THROTTLE. AT THAT POINT HE SAYS THAT THE AIRPLANE WAS HEADED FOR A GROUP OF LANDING LIGHTS WHICH LED HIM TO APPLYING HEAVY BRAKING ACTION RESULTING IN THE PLANE FLIPPING OVER. THE PILOT ALSO CLAIMS HE BELIEVES THERE WAS A TWISTER UNDER HIS TAIL AS WELL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
