## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 27 AT APPROXIMATELY 13:53 LOCAL TIME, A PIPER PA-30 TWIN COMANCHE N8848Y LANDED ON RUNWAY 27 AT HERNANDO COUNTY AIRPORT IN BROOKSVILLE (BKV). SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN ALL THREE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED WHILE THE AIRCRAFT WAS STILL AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET AND REMAINED ON THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
