## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT OF N20UQ ADVISED CHICAGO TRACON OF A ?FUEL ISSUE? WHILE ON THE RNAV Z 22L APPROACH TO CHICAGO MIDWAY AIRPORT (KMDW) AND INFORMED TRACON THAT THEY NEEDED TO GO DIRECT TO THE RUNWAY. TRACON VECTORED N20UQ DIRECT TO KMDW AND OFFERED RUNWAY 31C. THE PILOT OF N20UQ ACCEPTED RUNWAY 31C.

KMDW TOWER REPORTED WINDS FROM 200 DEGREES AT 15 KNOTS SHORTLY BEFORE THE PILOT OF N20UQ TOUCHED DOWN. THE PILOT OF N20UQ LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT DURING LANDING ROLLOUT, SKID OFF OF THE RUNWAY AT THE DEPARTURE END OF RUNWAY, STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT, AND CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS LEFT/WEST OF THE ENGINEERED MATERIAL ARRESTING SYSTEM (EMAS). THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT COME IN CONTACT WITH THE EMAS.

THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND NO POST-INCIDENT FIRE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
