## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

RECEIVED A REPORT OF A AIRCRAFT NLG COLLAPSE AFTER LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT HAD PERFORMED NUMEROUS TOUCH AND GOES, BOTH AT KTME AND 11R, WITH NOTICABLE WHEEL SHIMMY, PRIOR TO THE FIXED GEAR AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCING THE COLLAPSE OF THE NLG.

INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED THE NLG STRUT ASSEMBLY BROKE BELOW THE UPPER LATERAL BRACE WELDS, RADIALLY.

THE HARTZELL PROPELLER (MODEL: PHC-J3YF-1RF) WAS DESTROYED, IT SHOWED DAMAGE TO ALL THREE BLADES, BUT, THAT THEY PREVENTED DAMAGE FROM INCURRING TO THE LOWER ENGINE & FAIRINGS.

THE CONTINENTAL IO-550-N ENGINE, (SERIAL NO. 1010305) HAD NO VISUAL EXTERNAL DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
