## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 7/26/2017 A CESSNA 182, N13433 LANDED AT OSHKOSH ON RUNWAY 18 WITH TWO PERSONS ON BOARD TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL EAA CONVENTION. UPON ROLLOUT THE PILOT EXITED THE RUNWAY AND TAXIED INTO THE GRASS AS INSTRUCTED. RATHER THAN FOLLOWING THE GRASS TAXIWAY BACK TOWARD THE PARKING AREA HE TAXIED INTO A DITCH WHERE THE AIRCRAFT SUNK INTO THE SOFT GROUND AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK A SMALL INCLINE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE DITCH RESULTING IN DAMAMGE TO THE PROPELLER. BOTH THE PILOT AND PASSENGER EXITED THE AIRCRAFT UNHARMED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
