## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N709PT, PILOTED BY AIRMAN ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS COMPLETING A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT TO SPG AND BACK TO TMB. WHILE ON FINAL APPROACH TO RWY 9R THE TOWER INSTRUCTED N709PT TO GO AROUND BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF HIM. DURING THE GO AROUND PROCEDURE THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER AND ACCOMPANIED BY A STRONG VIBRATION. THEY DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND TOUCHED DOWN ON THE REMAINING PORTION OF THE RUNWAY AND ROLLED OFF THE END AND INTO THE GRASS.

POST INCIDENT INVESTIGATION FOUND A MINIMUM OF 1 STUCK CYLINDER. ALL CYLINDERS WERE REMOVED, REPAIRED AND REINSTALLED

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
