## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS ENROUTE FROM SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WI (SBM) WITH KOJC AS THE DESTINATION. THE PILOT SELECTED FULL FLAPS FOR LANDING ON RUNWAY 18 AT KOJC, WHICH HAD JUST RECEIVED A HEAVY RAIN STORM. AFTER TOUCH DOWN, THE PILOT DEPLOYED SPOILERS AND APPLIED THE BRAKES AS THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO HYDROPLANE ON THE WET RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNABLE TO STOP AND DEPARTED THE SOUTH END OF RUNWAY 18 COMING TO REST IN THE GRASS APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
