## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT FLEW FROM TRAVERSE CITY TO FLINT, MICHIGAN. PILOT REPORTED HIS BATTERY WAS DYING. DID NOT HAVE HIS THREE GREEN LANDING GEAR LIGHTS. HE FLEW PASS THE TOWER TO CONFIRM HIS GEAR WAS DOWN AND LANDED AT FLINT MICHIGAN. THE NEXT DAY HE HAD A MECHANIC LOOK AT THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES. MECHANIC STATED THAT HIS ALTERNATOR WAS BAD. PILOT CONTACTED THE OWNER OF THE AIRCRAFT AND DECIDED TO FLY THE AIRCRAFT FROM FLINT MICHIGAN TO AKRON CANTON, OHIO. WHEN LANDED AT CAK, THE GEAR COLLASPE AND AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP ON THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
