## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT TAXIIED FROM ITS HANGAR ENROUTE TO THE RUNWAY WHEN ITS WINGTIP CONTACTED A VAN. THE VAN WAS STATIONARY AND OWNED BY AN HVAC CONTRACTOR DOING WORK FOR THE AIRPORT. WINGTIP AND VAN BOTH RECIEVED MINOR DAMAGE. AIRCRAFT AND VAN WERE BOTH MOVED PRIOR TO FAA OR LEO ARRIVAL ON SCENE. UPON INSPECTION, DISCOVERED MINOR DAMAGE ISOLATED TO THE RIGHT WING TIP OF THE AIRCRAFT, WITH NO DAMGE TO THE AILERON OR RIGGING. TIP WAS SHEARED OFF, AND OUTTERMOST SPAR DAMAGED. TAXIWAY IS 15' WIDE, WINGSPAN IS 35.5' WIDE. VAN WAS PARKED 10' FROM THE TAXIWAY EDGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
