## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AROUND 6:30 PM, AUGUST 21, 2017 AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION NUMBER N247LA CRASH ON TAKEOFF IN SHAW, MISSISSIPPI. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT AS HE WAS TRYING TO TAKE OFF WITH A FULL LOAD FROM HIS HOME BASE HE NOTICED THAT HE WAS REDLINE TORQUE AND RPM, AND WHEN HE MADE IT TO THE END OF THE CONCRETE PART OF THE RUNWAY HE NOTICED THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT WANT TO FLY SO HE LOWERED THE FLAPS AND PUSHED THE THROTTLE TO THE STOP POSITION. HE ALSO STATED THE AIRCRAFT STILL DID NOT WANT TO FLY BUT BY THAT TIME HE WAS APPROACHING THE END OF THE RUNWAY SO HE DUMPED THE HOPPER TO RELEASE THE LOAD AND THE LEFT WING WENT DOWN AND THE RIGHT WING WENT UP AS HE CROSSED A DITCH AT THE END OF A GRASSY AREA OF THE RUNWAY BREAKING OFF THE LANDING GEAR OFF CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO SLIDE AND SPIN AROUND IN A BEAN FIELD. THE PILOT REPORTED ALSO THAT HE HAD JUST PREVIOUSLY TAKEN TWO LOADS OF THE SAME MIX AND QUANTITY WITH NO PROBLEM. THE PILOT HAD MINOR INJURIES AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.
