## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE NUMBER 1 ALTERNATOR BUS CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED CAUSING A LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER. THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS RESET AND ELECTRICAL POWER WAS MOMENTARILY RESTORED. THE PILOT ELECTED TO RETURN TO KEKY. THE NUMBER 2 ALTERNATOR BUS CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIPPED AND WOULD NOT RESET. THE AIRCRAFT THEN EXPERIENCED A TOTAL LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER.

THE PILOT EXECUTED A GO-AROUND MANEUVER DURING INITIAL APPROACH TO EKY TO AVOID CONFLICTING TRAFFIC. ON THE SECOND APPROACH THE PILOT POSITIONED THE GEAR LEVER TO THE DOWN POSITION BUT THE GEAR DID NOT EXTEND DUE TO THE ELECTRICAL FAILURE. THE GEAR POSITION INDICATOR WAS NOT OPERATIONAL AND PILOT FAILED TO EXECUTE THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURE. THE PILOT MADE A GEAR-UP LANDING AT APPROXIMATELY 1000 LOCAL.

THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, LANDING GEAR DOORS AND LOWER FUSELAGE SURFACES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
