As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTED A LANDING AT THE DESTINATION AIRPORT AND CAME UP SHORT OF THE RUNWAY AFTER LOSING ENGINE POWER AND HITTING A TREE. ACCIDENT SCENE INVESTIGATION REVEALED NO FUEL WAS FOUND IN THE FUEL TANKS OR CARBURETOR. BOTH INDIVDUALS WERE EJECTED FROM THE AIRCRAFT AFTER IMPACT AND DIED OF THEIR INJURIES. POSITIVE CONFIRMATION OF SEAT BELT USE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED.
