## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT LEFT HICKORY, NC FOR DESTINATION IN WILLMINGTON, NC. WITH A PILOT AND FOUR PASSENGERS. THE AIRCRAFT FLEW TO RALEIGH, NC (RDU) FOR FUEL AND DURING LANDING, THE PILOT FELT THE AIRCRAFT PULL TO THE RIGHT. THE PILOT TRIED TO COMPENSATE WITH THE RUDDER BUT THE AIRCRAFT KEPT PULLING INCREASINGLY TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT ENDED JUST OFF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS AREA. THE PILOT HAD THE TIRE CHANGED AND CONTINUED TO WILMINGTON WITH NO FURTHER EVENTS. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
