## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A STUDENT PILOT ON A SOLO FLIGHT WAS MAKING A LANDING ON RUNWAY 23 AT GWW. AFTER FEELING THE MAIN TIRES TOUCH DOWN CONTINUED FLARE AND HOLD CROSSWIND CORRECTIONS. AS THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO SLOW ON THE RUNWAY THE PILOT SAID THE WIND STRONGLY PULLED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO CORRECT THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO PULL LEFT ENTERING A SOYBEAN FIELD LEFT OF THE RUNWAY AND COMING TO A STOP ABOUT 50 TO 75 FEET FROM THE RUNWAY. NO INJURIES REPORTED. DAMAGE INCLUDED A BENT PROPELLER AND BROKEN NOSE GEAR FORK THAT WAS FOUND ABOUT 10 TO 15 FEET FROM THE AIRCRAFT IN THE PATH FROM THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
