## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

09/13/2017-17:40Z- LEFT MAIN GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTER DEPARTURE, RETURNED AND LANDED RWY18R.

09/14/2017- MADE CONTACT WITH PIC. AFTER RETURNING TO KNEW PIC STATED HE DECIDED TO FLY THE AIRCRAFT FROM KNEW TO KHUM FOR MAINTENANCE. LANDING GEAR WAS NOT DEFERRED IN ANYWAY AND NO FERRY PERMIT HAD BEEN GRANTED.

AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND TURNBUCKLE WAS R&R'ED BY HAMMONDS AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
