## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2017, AT 1250 EDT, A CZECH AIRCRAFT WORKS SPOL SRO,

ZENAIR CH 701 STOL, N61KW, REGISTERED TO PRAGWAY US INC., MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AFTER EXPERIENCING ENGINE POWER LOSS, ON SAND KEY BEACH, CLEARWATER BEACH, FL, WHILE ON A RECREATIONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNDAMAGED AND BOTH THE PILOT-INCOMMAND (PIC) AND HIS PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT TAMPA NORTH AERO PARK (X39), LUTZ, FL, APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
