## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^PILOT/MECHANIC WAS TAXIING THE AIRCRAFT TO WARM IT UP FOR AN ANNUAL INSPECTION. THERE WAS NO INTENTION OF FLIGHT. RIGHT MAIN GEAR GOT STUCK IN A GOPHER HOLE. HE EXITED THE AIRCRAFT, WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, TO PUSH OUT OF THE GOPHER HOLE. AIRCRAFT THROTTLE CREPT FORWARD, AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED FORWARD FASTER THAN THE O^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^PILOT/MECHANIC COULD RUN. AIRCRAFT STRUCK AN UNOCCUPIED HOUSE AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT HAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE, HOUSE HAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE. WITH NO INTENTION OF FLIGHT, THE NTSB REPRESENTATIVE DROPPED OFF THE CONFERENCE CALL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
