## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS FLYING FROM WOLF LAKE, ALASKA TO DILLINGHAM , ALASKA. AIRCRAFT WAS WEST OF LAKE CLARK PASS WHEN PILOT NOTICES ENGINE RUNNING ROUGH. PILOT CHECKED FUEL STATE AND HAD 1/4 TANK FUEL IN RIGHT AND 3/4 TANK OF FUEL IN LEFT.

FUEL SELECTOR WAS IN BOTH. PILOT DECIDED TO MAKE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING BEFORE CROSSING LAKE CLARK. PILOT CHOSE TO LAND ON A SAND BAR 1 3/4 MILES NORTH OF LAKE CLARK ON THE TLIKAKILA RIVER. UPON LANDING AIRCRAFT HIT AN OBJECT WITH NOSE LANDING GEAR, GEAR BENT, DRUG THE RIGHT WING TIP. PILOT AND PASSENGER EXITED AIRCRAFT WITHOUT INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
