## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 11/2/2017 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^PRIVATE PILOT WAS RECEIVING INSTRUCTION FROM A CFI FOR TAIL WHEEL ENDORSEMENT ON HIS AIRCRAFT. WHILE ATTEMPING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 22 AT CJR, THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE MAIN WHEELS AND BOUNCED. THE PILOT AT THE CONTROLS APPLIED FORWARD PRESSURE ALLOWING THE NOSE TO DROP AND THE PROP TO STRIKE THE GROUND. THE PILOT CLEARED THE RUNWAY AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO THE HANGER FOR INSPECTION. THE DAMAGE APPEARS TO BE LIMITED TO THE PROP. AIRPORT AUTHORITY NOTIFIED THE FSDO ON 11/2/2017 AT 1500 EDT, AND AN INSPECTOR WAS SENT TO THE SCENE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
