## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT MADE EMERGENCY LANDING ON 3 FRESHLY PAVED LANES OF I-4 NOT YET OPEN TO VEHICLE TRAFFIC DUE TO RUNNING OUT OF FUEL. PILOT DEPARTED DED ENROUTE TO ORL WHEN PILOT NOTICED ENGINE SPUTTERING. ENGINE SMOOTHED OUT AFTER APPLYING CARB HEAT BUT QUIT SHORTLY AFTER. ISSUED PAN-PAN CALL TO ATC WHO TRACKED HIM DOWN TO 200 FT APPROX. 10 MILES NW FROM ORL. SHERIFF'S WERE NOTIFIED AND DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE. AIRPLANE LANDING WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT AND NO AIRPLANE DAMAGE SUSTAINED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
