## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT AND PASSENGER DEPARTED IN N69656 AT ROSAMOND SKY PARK FOR A LOCAL FLIGHT. 15 MINUTES LATER THEY RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT. DURING ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO SWERVE TO THE LEFT WHICH WAS CORRECTED FOR BY THE PILOT. THE AIRCRAFT THEN BEGAN A SECOND SWERVE TO THE LEFT WHICH WAS NOT FULLY CORRECTED FOR AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY ONTO THE DIRT INFIELD. THE PILOT STATED THAT BECAUSE OF THE SANDY SOIL CONDITIONS THE WHEELS DUG INTO THE SOIL. THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER ON ITS NOSE, COMING TO A REST UPSIDE DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE ON THE TOP WING AND RUDDER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
