## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AN S-76A++ HELICOPTER LANDED ON A 135 HELICOPTER AIR AMBULANCE FLIGHT AT AN OFF AIPORT LOCATION. THE FLIGHT MEDIC AND NURSE EXITED THE AIRCRAFT TO RESPOND TO THE PATIENT. THE PILOT STAYED IN THE AIRCRAFT AND NOTICED AN ENGINE FLUCTUATION OF TEMPERATURE. THE FLIGHT NURSE NOTCED A FIRE COMING FROM THE HELICOPTER AND TRIED TO GET THE PILOTS ATTENTION. THE PILOT RESPONDED WITH AN EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN. BOTH FIRE HANDLES WERE USED IN RESPONSE TO THE FIRE. FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONELL RESPONDED ON SCENE AND APPLIED WATER TO THE ENGINES.
