## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE SOLO STUDENT PILOT REPTD THE FOLLOWING: HE LANDED ON RWY 29 AND WAS ATTEMPTING TO EXIT THE RWY AT THE A2 TAXIWAY INTERSECTION, WHEN HE "APPLIED LEFT RUDDER TO MAKE THE TURN ONTO THE TAXIWAY" AND FOUND THAT THE ACFT WAS "NOT VERY RESPONSIVE". HE THEN TRIED TO USE THE LT BRAKE BUT FOUND THAT THERE WAS "NO BRAKE PEDAL PRESSURE." HE WAS UNABLE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THE ACFT BACK ONTO THE RWY, AND THE ACFT SUBSEQUENTLY DEPARTED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RWY JUST PAST A2 EXIT AND STRUCK A RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT WITH THE PROPELLER BEFORE COMING TO A STOP.

THE ACFT PROPELLER AND A TAXIWAY LIGHT AT THE A2 INTERSECTION SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE; THE PROP SUSTAINED A DEEP GOUGE, AND THE TAXIWAY LIGHT LENS WAS BROKEN.

THE OPERATOR REPORTED THAT BOTH ACFT MLG BRAKES WERE FOUND TO BE FUNCTIONAL WHEN THE ACFT WAS TOWED BACK TO THE RAMP AREA AND PARKED AFTER THE INCIDENT.

THE STUDENT REPORTEDLY HAD 24.2 HRS TOTAL FLIGHT TIME WITH ONLY 3.2 HRS SOLO TIME AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
