## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN REPORTS THAT HE TOOK OFF ON RUNWAY 27 (APPROX 10 KT TAILWIND PER HISTORICAL METAR) AND RAISED GEAR @ APPROX 10 FEET ALTITUDE. AIRCRAFT SETTLED BACK TO RUNWAY WITH GEAR UP. TAILWIND AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF ATTENTION TO AIRCRAFT PITCH ATTITUDE AND/OR THROTTLE CREEP AND/OR POWER LOSS RESULTED IN AIRCRAFT SETTLING BACK TO RUNWAY IN GEAR UP POSITION. AIRMAN ENROUTE TO ST GEORGE AIRPORT NEARBY FOR AIRCRAFT REPOSITION

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
