## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 13, 2018, N97PG WAS MAKING PRACTICE TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS AT PAHOKEE AIRPORT (KPHK), WHEN INADVERTENTLY LANDED WITHOUT THE LANDING GEAR EXTENDED.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ A PRIVATE PILOT WAS PIC AND THE SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS INTERVIEWED AT THE SCENE AND SUBMITTED A WRITTEN STATEMENT. HE WAS VERY COOPERATIVE AND OPENLY ADMITTED THAT HE HAD FORGOTTEN TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED THAT HE WAS DISTRACTED BY WATCHING OUT FOR AND COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER AIRCRAFT IN THE UNCONTROLLED TRAFFIC PATTERN. THIS LED TO NOT COMPLETING THE REQUIRED CHECKLIST ITEMS PRIOR TO LANDING.

THE GEAR UP LANDING WAS RELATIVELY UNEVENTFUL. VISUAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT IS LIMITED TO THE PROPELLER, FLAP TRAILING EDGES AND AREAS OF BELLY SKIN DAMAGE.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS A CO-OWNER OF N97PG AND RECEIVED NO INJURIES AS A RESULT OF THE INCIDENT. NO OTHER PROPERTY DAMAGES WERE REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
