## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 17 AT AVL WITH REPORTED WINDS BY ATC OF 210@10G15, AIRCRAFT SUFFERED A LOSS OF CONTROL RESULTING IN A HARD LANDING THAT CAUSED THE LOWER PORTION OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR TO SHEAR OFF. THIS RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO LANDING GEAR DOORS, SMALL PUNCTURE IN LOWER FUSELAGE AND A PROPELLER STRIKE TO ALL THREE BLADES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
