## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT STATES HE WAS PERFORMING MULTIPLE SOLO TOUCH AND GOES AT DWH AIRPORT ON RUNWAY 17R. DURING THE LAST TOUCH AND GO, HE THOUGHT HE HAD TOUCHED DOWN, SO HE RAISED THE FLAPS AND APPLIED FULL THROTTLE. IMMEDIATELY THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED AND TOOK A HARD LEFT TURN. STUDENT THEN APPLIED RIGHT RUDDER WITH SOME SUCCESS BUT FELT APPLYING ANYMORE WOULD CAUSE THE AIRCRAFT TO TURN TOO SHARP. HE THEN PULLED THE THROTTLE AND APPLIED BOTH BRAKES HARD, BUT SKID OFF THE RUNWAY AND HIT SOME AIRPORT SIGNS CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND BOTH WHEEL PANTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
